MEXICAN FIRE OPAL is a stone associated with luck, abundance, creativity, and passion. It's known for its fiery red, orange, and yellow hues; giving off the colors of a vivid sunset. For obvious reasons, the stone has been associated with the element of fire.
MORADO OPALS are named with the Spanish word for purple (Morado), and were first discovered in Mexico in 2011. They get their purple color due to natural inclusions of fluorite into the opal stone. Morado Opals are said to repel negative energy; thereby aiding in the wearer of releasing negativity.
OWYHEE BLUE OPALS were discovered in Oregon in 2003; and to date, it is the only location where they have been found. They are said to have a calming energy, and to aid in the release of fears.
COMMON OPAL: Technically speaking, all opals that are opaque (non-transluscent) fall under the common opal category. In this case, I'm using the term to refer to the white opals. White opals fall under many different names such as "porcelain opal" and "milk opals". They are said to be stones of calm and peace, as well as a booster of positive energy.
