This delicate charm necklace features a genuine Ancient Roman Republic Apollo coin from 82 B.C. set with a solid 14k yellow gold pronged setting.
APOLLO is the Greek and Roman god of the sun and light as well as music and poetry; and was brother of Artemis and leader of the muses.
MARSYAS was a satyr who featured in stories mostly involving his pride and music. In one of his most famous stories, he challenged Apollo to a musical contest, lost, and was killed for the hubris of challenging a god.
