This necklace is completely hand-knotted to give a secure, fluid feel to the necklace. This also allows the necklace to seamlessly bend to transition from a long double strand necklace into a short quadruple strand for the ultimate statement piece.
PERUVIAN OPALS are opals from the Andean Mountains in Peru, and are either this blue-green color or a pale pink color. It was said to be a gift from the Incan goddess Pachamama (Mother Earth), and was used to heal emotional wounds.
