This delicate charm necklace features a genuine Roman Julius Caesar coin from 49-48 B.C. set in a 14k gold setting.
Julius Caesar - He changed the course of Greco-Roman history via his rise to power, which spelled the end of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire. He quickly instigated much needed reform in the Roman government, decreased the debt of the empire, and gave citizenship to foreigners living within the empire. After his death, the month of July was added into the Gregorian calendar in homage to his name.
