This delicate charm necklace features a genuine Roman Helena coin from 330 A.D. set in a 14k gold filled bezel setting (reversible).

HELENA was the wife of Constantius I and mother of Constantine the Great. She was highly influential in the spread of Christianity. In her later years, she toured Jerusalem and the Eastern Provinces searching for holy relics, and is credited with the discovery of the True Cross of Jesus Christ as well as the crucifixion nails. She erected the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and the Church of Eleona on the Mount of Olives. She also ordered a church built at the site of the Burning Bush in Sinai, Egypt.
