This delicate charm necklace features a genuine Greek Ares coin from 105-85 B.C. set with a 10k gold reversible bezel setting.
ARES is the Greek god of courage and war; and is son of Zeus and Hera. In literature, he was commonly associated with the wilder sides of war (as in contrast with his sister, Athena, who was associated with military strategy). He also embodied the physical strength necessary to win a war.
