This delicate charm necklace features a genuine Ancient Greek Cherronesos Lion coin from 357-320 B.C. set with a solid 14k yellow gold bezel setting.
LIONS - This coins is from the Greek colony of Thracian Cherronesos, and these coins were used to facilitate trade throughout the Black Sea. The earliest coins we have from the Greeks all featured animals, and mostly lions; but this coin type was one of earliest to have a design on the back as well.
