Septimus Severus - Born in Leptis Magna (Libya) in Rome's African Province, he was the first Roman Emperor to come from outside of the European continent. He led many successful military campaigns; and re-unified the Roman empire by ending the civil wars throughout the region. As a result, he upped soldiers' pay by raising taxes - these higher tax policies he put into place are credited with the eventual demise of the Roman empire.
Reverse: Moon & Star - this symbolism was seen with one star, 3 stars, five stars, or at most 7 stars; symbolizing the celestial bodies. The Severian dynasty was known for being a little obsessed with astronomy.
