Constantine the Great - He was best known for being the first Christian Roman Emperor. He turned the city of Byzantium into the new Roman capital, renaming it Constantinople (present day Istanbul). It would remain the capital for a thousand years.  Front has Constantine's helmeted bust surrounded by CONSTANTINOPOLIS.

Winged Victory (Victoria)(Back): Depicts winged Victory (goddess of victory) holding a shield in her left hand and standing on the prow of a ship. This particular coin was minted around 330 AD as a commemorative coin for the founding of Constantinople (modern day Istanbul).
