Maximinus II - while originally a peasant, his accomplishments in the army led him to be "adopted" by his maternal uncle (and previous caesar, Galerius). He was then given the rank of Caesar with the governments of Syria and Aegyptus. Later named "sons of the Augusti" alongside Constantine the Great.
