Constantine the Great - He was best known for being the first Christian Roman Emperor. He turned the city of Byzantium into the new Roman capital, renaming it Constantinople (present day Istanbul). It would remain the capital for a thousand years. This coin shows military strength with two soldiers on the back and the words GLORIA EXERCITVS or "glory of the army" around the top. This image was often used in the Constantine era during periods of expansion, namely through France and "Alamannia" (parts of present-day Germany).
*** NOTE: Necklace comes with a card of authenticity and the explanation of what the coin is.
