** PLEASE NOTE: This is the exact coin you will receive! As all of these ancient coins were made by hand (and have aged about 1700 years), they all have unique shapes and printings; and are therefore one of a kind. I have included a link to the rest of our ancient coin necklaces below!
Constantine the Great - He was best known for being the first Christian Roman Emperor. He turned the city of Byzantium into the new Roman capital, renaming it Constantinople (present day Istanbul). It would remain the capital for a thousand years.
Jupiter (Back): Depicts Jupiter (also Jove - god of the sky and thunder and king of the Roman pantheon; i.e. the Roman Zeus) surrounded by IOVI CONSERVATORI - to Jupiter the protector. Jupiter holds victory on a globe in his right hand and a staff in his left. An eagle with a wreath in its mouth sits to his right.
