** PLEASE NOTE: This is the exact coin you will receive! As all of these ancient coins were made by hand (and have aged about 150 years), they all have unique shapes and printings; and are therefore one of a kind.
This coin was issued by Japanese Shoguns throughout the 19th century, and are known as one of the only rectangular coins ever issued on a national scale. The coins were made from silver bars and were hand-struck with hammers and hand-held dyes. Most times, the design wasn't lined up correctly; so to find a coin with the entire design shown is fairly rare.
