HADRIAN - He conducted huge construction and reconstruction projects that included both the Temples of Venus and Roma; and, most notably, the Pantheon. He also constructed Hadrian's Wall - a defensive wall separating northern England from Scotland. He was one of the "five good emperors" of Rome who ruled during the Pax Romana (the height of the empire).

SERAPIS - He was a Greco-Egyptian god that was actively promoted during the 3rd century B.C. by Ptolemy I as a means of unifying his Greek and Egyptian subjects. The god was modeled from the worship of the Egyptian Osiris and Apis; was given the powers of Hades and Demeter; and given the benevolence usually associated with Dionysus. Here, he is even in possession of Hades' famous three-headed dog, Cerberus.
