** PLEASE NOTE: This is the exact coin you will receive! As all of these ancient coins were made by hand (and have aged about 1900 years), they all have unique shapes and printings; and are therefore one of a kind. I have included a link to the rest of our ancient coin necklaces below!

Empress Diva Faustina: wife of Antonius Pius, she was awarded the title of Augusta (empress) when Pius became Emperor of Rome. She was very prominent in her assistance to charities supporting the poor and in the education of female children. Her style was unique, and her favored distinctive hairstyle was worn throughout the Roman Empire for generations after her death. Pius was so distraught after her passing that he had her deified with the title of Diva (or divine being).

Ceres: the Roman goddess of agriculture and motherhood. She is one of the Dii Consentes (Roman equivalent to the Twelve Olympians) and was said to be the Roman counterpart to Demeter; the Greek goddess of Spring.
