Constantine the Great - He was best known for being the first Christian Roman Emperor. He turned the city of Byzantium into the new Roman capital, renaming it Constantinople (present day Istanbul). It would remain the capital for a thousand years. Front shows his helmeted bust surrounded by VRBS ROMA.
Romulus & Remus - This coin was a commemorative issue celebrating the founders of Rome, featuring the tale of Romulus and Remus with the she-wolf standing over the twins.
