ATHENA was the patron goddess of Athens in Ancient Greece; and is known as the Goddess of Wisdom and Strategic Warfare (amongst other attributes). This specific coin has an ancient banker's test mark on the obverse - these marks made to combat counterfeit coins back in Ancient Greece.
