Licinius - Otherwise known as Flavius Galerius Valerius Licinianus Licinius (rolls right off the tongue), he accompanied Emperor Galerius on a Persian Expedition in 297. He was later given command over what was formerly the Western Half of the Roman Empire.

Reverse shows Genius pouring donations from a patera (bowl/dish used in religious ceremonies) in his left hand, draped in a chlamys, and holding a cornucopia in his right hand. GENIUS was basically the Roman version of a guardian angel/conscience. Seen as a creature between god and man status, GENII were assigned to people at birth; and everyone had a good and bad one. They would hand you over to the gods at the end of your life.
