LOS ANGELES & UNIQUE LA MARKET

So this is more of "flashback" post from early May - I just realized that I never wrote a post about our travels out to Los Angeles!  Anyway, we heard back in March that we one of the vendors chosen to participate in the Unique LA market, and were supper excited to travel out there as neither Kim nor I have been in the city (and no, the airport does not count).

Can I just say, that we would both move out there today if we could!  The weather was amazing - we did get some rain, which the city desperately needed.  Getting to say goodbye to the dense humidity here in Raleigh was amazing.  We loved the more open landscape, and maybe we got lucky, but the traffic really wasn't all that bad.  We had an AMAZING time at the Unique LA market, and love meeting all of the wonderful customers and other vendors at the event - it was such a great success!

Anyway enough chitchat, here are the photos from the trip (sorry about the quality of some, all were taken with my phone, and lighting wasn't always the best)!

Obligatory photo from the plane - loved the view as we crossed the Rockies!

Beautifully colored rose given to Kim at our Mother's Day brunch - the restaurant was giving out free ones to all of the Mothers, so precious!!

We drove up to the Griffith Observatory (unfortunately didn't have time to hike to the sign).  I hoped out of the car to take this photo of the city.  I absolutely love the landscape/terrain here!

Best taco place, ever!! We were in LA for four days, and ended up eating here twice.  The place is called La Escuela Taquería, and it is in West Hollywood.  Soooo yummy!
